Hi,
Thanks for the site, works fine for me.
The ability to export your stats to a text, excel, etc file would be nice. I lost all of my rounds when I left the SCGA.
Thanks,
Neil

I love golf. I love playing, watching, reading about it, talking about it, etc.
I always enjoy going out with my golfing buddies and playing a round. While I may get a little disgusted with my play, I never finish a round and think "I wish I hadn't played today." NEVER! While I am on the course I forget about the bills that are looming, the problems I may be having at work, the stress of everyday life.
Golf never ceases to amaze me with it's ability to cause me enjoyment and relaxation.

Shot 8 over for 18 yesterday. It was a very solid round for me.
THe best part of the day was when I finished up and the was returning the golf cart. The ranger asked how I scored, presumably just being cordial. I told him and he said that he thought I must have been having a good round because he saw a few off my shots as he was trolling the course. "You have a very good game", he said.
Big beaming smile from me.
I'm glad he didn't see my duff off the tee box on 15!
Have to say though, it was nice to get teh compliment.

what does the "+" next to the date on recent rounds ive entered mean? thanks
Before I joined this website, I had my own handicap tracker which I still keep in addition to this site. Up until about 3 weeks ago they agreed perfectly. All of a sudden, this site gives me a lower index than mine does. I have not changed any setting on my computer to cause a difference. I have checked and double checked my postings and course statistics and can find no reason for the difference. I am at a loss.

I have seen a few posts about tracking handicap from the beginning. Here's what I do...
For my handicap, I let my game take it's course and let the handicap adjust without worrying too much about where it was, so long as I know where it is.
For tracking my improvement, I created an Excell sheet which lists all my rounds (that I have record of). With this I created a graph and can see how my game is progressing. For instance, when I started playing regularly and keeping track of at least some of my rounds (2003) I was averaging about 115 a round (Ouch!).

Hey there all,
I've been away from the site for a while, pretty much since it changed over to being run by whoever is running it now. I think I like the old mygolfrecord.com better, but whatever...I am back to try to enjoy it.
Seems there was a lot more chatting on the old site. Have people just given up on this one?
